The sound of your heels clicking on the ground echoed in your ears as you walked closer to the party. You could hear music playing and lights flashing inside the building and felt Timmy’s hand interlock with yours.
“Don’t leave my side,” he said placing a gentle kiss on your hand.
“Promise,” you said giving his hand a little squeeze.
You knew no matter how many movies he did, no matter how well he knew the cast, any event still made him nervous. The truth was they made you nervous too, sometimes feeling like an outsider, you liked to hear that Timmy didn’t want you to leave his side, because you didn’t want to.
The two of you walked into the party greeted by hellos and hugs, drinks were immediately placed in your hands, not that you were complaining, and just like that, you were welcomed into the crew.
“(Y/n), good to see you,” one of the movie producers, Colin, said walking up and hugging you.
You could feel Timmy tense up beside you, he never liked Colin, claimed he always flirted with you, which was true, but you loved Timmy so it didn’t really matter to you anyway.
“You look absolutely stunning,” he said looking you up and down.
You blushed slightly, “thank you, that’s very sweet Colin.”
Timmy cleared his throat.
“Ah, Timothee, how are you?” Colin said just now acknowledging Timmy’s presence.
“I’m good,” he said shortly.
You tried to stifle a laugh, at how annoyed Timmy was, he was jealous.
“That’s good,” Colin said awkwardly, even the most clueless person on the planet could tell Timmy didn’t like him very much.
“So (Y/n), do you want to dance?” Colin asked as if your boyfriend wasn’t right there.
You swear you saw Timmy’s jaw drop and hit the floor.
“Um, well that’s very sweet Colin,” you started.
“But we were actually just about to dance,” Timothee cut in.
“I see,” Colin said.
It took everything in you not to crack a smile, you loved jealous Timmy.
“I’ll have to get you later,” it would be an honor to dance with a girl as beautiful as yourself,” he said with a wink.
Even though you were against it you had to give the guy some props for the fact that he could unashamedly flirt with a girl with her boyfriend right there.
“Why don’t you dance with that girl over there, Timmy said pointing to a woman dancing. She seems nice…..and single,” he added, unable to hide his irritation.
“Sure, but I bet she’s not as good of a dancer as (Y/n). I can wait.” He said in a way that implied he meant to wait for more than just a dance.
“Right, I just thought because she looks so single,” Timmy said, once again emphasizing the single part.
You bit back a giggle.
“Let’s go,” Timmy said grabbing your hand and pulling you to the dance floor, where they had just started playing a slow song.
You wrapped your arms around his neck and he placed his hands on your hips, the two of you swayed back and forth to the music.
“I love you (Y/n),” Timothee mumbled into your ear, as the two of you danced.
“I love you too Timmy, especially when you’re jealous,” you said with a smirk.
“I was not jealous,” he said, cheeks heating up.
“Were too,” you shot back
“Was not,” Timmy said sticking out his tongue at you.
“Then if you don’t mind I’ll go and dance with Colin, who just happens to be waiting over there,” you said teasingly, walking away.
Timothee grabbed your arm, spun you into him, then dipped you down, connecting his beautifully soft lips to yours.
“Maybe, just maybe, I was a little jealous,” he said lifting you back up.
You were having trouble breathing at what Timmy had just done and you were finding him extremely attractive right now.
“I love you, Timmy, no one will ever change that you know that, right.”
“I know, but a beautiful girl like you, you could have anyone,” he said placing a strand of hair behind your ear.
“But I choose you,” you said kissing his cheek. Although if anything ever went wrong,that girl over there dancing looks nice..and really single,” you said in a mocking tone.
“You’re gonna pay for that,” he said.
Then all of a sudden you were off your feet and over Timothee’s shoulder.
“Bye everyone, thanks for a wonderful time, he said as the two of you walked out.
You waved to everyone, slightly embarrased, but also very turned on by Timothee’s behavior, especially when you saw him wink at Colin, before you were out the door.
